Dentaurum celebrates 30 years of ceramic
– a milestone in dental technology

Dentaurum is a leading full-service provider of quality products in the fields of orthodontics, dental prosthetics, implantology and ceramics. More than 30 years ago, the company extended its portfolio to include dental ceramics. Since then, an international specialist team in France and Germany has been developing innovative dental ceramic products and product technologies.
Dentaurum Ceramics is one of the few companies worldwide with expertise in the development and manufacture of dental ceramics. With more than 30 years' experience in vitroceramic powders and pastes, the company has developed groundbreaking technologies – and continually researches new materials.
Pioneer work in the field of dental ceramics
In 1996, Dentaurum Ceramics presented CARMEN® as one of the first synthetic leucite glass ceramics. Triceram®, a special ceramic for the veneering of titanium and zirconium dioxide, followed three years later. The range of dental ceramics has been extended continually over the years.
The latest line of ceramics, ceraMotion®, has been on the market since 2013 and is gaining increasing importance. This synthetic glass ceramic is made from ultrapure raw materials and offers great flexibility: dental technicians have at hand a mass concept of uniform structure for various framework materials as well as options for standard veneers or complex layering concepts. The material properties of ceraMotion® are stable thanks to a specially developed manufacturing method.
Production is carried out with state-of-the-art technology and fulfils the highest European and worldwide quality standards. With around 1500 products, production can be flexibly adapted to the customers' individual requirements – from small to large pots for the global market.
Latest milestone in the assortment
Dentaurum was the first company worldwide to develop dentin materials in paste form – including ceraMotion® One Touch No Limits and Pink, the first 3D dentin materials. The ceraMotion® One Touch 2D and 3D ceramic pastes for the aesthetic finish of monolithic restorations made of lithium disilicate and zirconium oxide were a further innovation.
The portfolio continues to grow in the past few years, the zirconium oxide blanks ceraMotion® Z and ceraMotion® CADback, the first creative software for ceramists, were added.
