There are not that many products which have been on the market for over 60 years and have remained successful to this day – especially not in the dental market. For more than six decades, the Dentaurum orthodontic acrylic Orthocryl^® has combined excellent product properties and biocompatibility with reliable and easy handling. To this day, the salt-and-pepper technique is the dominant method in the production of braces. Over the years, the company has continuously adapted Orthocryl® to market requirements. With Orthocryl^® LC, the extensive product range not only offers a large variety of vibrant colors for creative braces, but also an absolutely allergy-friendly, light-curing material.

Being a Class IIa product, it is even approved without reservations for the fixed appliance technique, as it is highly biocompatible. The combination of the special particle size distribution of the powder component and the matching liquid results in optimum stability. On the occasion of the anniversary year, Dentaurum collated numerous tips and tricks from professionals for the practical use of Orthocryl^® in a digital guide. In addition to application recommendations, this guide also offers numerous insights into the production of the material. Also celebrating its anniversary in this product portfolio is the light-curing material Orthocryl^® LC. Since 2014, Dentaurum has been offering a completely monomer-free version of the successful orthodontic acrylic. The innovative material is ready-to-use straight from the cartridge and therefore very easy to apply. Orthocryl^® LC is environmentally friendly and an absolutely biocompatible alternative for allergy sufferers – both for patients and dental technicians alike.
